A few of his accomplishments and qualifications are as follows:
  • Dr. Varun Jaitpal completed his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi Medical College (RGMC) and Chhattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital, Kalwa. in 2019.
  • Following, MBBS, he trained for 3 years as a Junior Resident under the able guidance of India’s top-rated, knowledgeable and highly respected psychiatrists at NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Nagpur.
  • He secured his Masters in Diagnostics (MD) degree in Psychiatry in 2023 and was awarded the prestigious H.G. Bhave Gold medal for securing highest marks in Psychiatry at his institute.
  • He secured his second Postgraduate Degree in Psychiatry, Diplomate of National Board (DNB) from Delhi by displaying expertise and in depth knowledge of the subject before the examiners. He achieved this feat in 2025.
  • He is also an avid researcher and has 4 publications in international journals. This is a testimonial to his zeal towards contributing for enriching the literature available for generations to come.
  • Dr. Varun was awarded the I.K. Mujawar Award for Best Poster Presentation at the annual national conference organised by Indian Psychiatric Society WZB in 2022 for his research focused on patients with schizophrenia.
  • He has also acquired training in Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT) from IN-VIVO institute which is affiliated with the esteemed Albert Ellis Institute of REBT, New York.
  • He has secured a leadership role through various phases of his life such as General Secretary of the student’s council at RGMC and the Mess committee President at NKPSIMS.
